STYLISH GIFTS THAT WILL EARN YOU SOME SERIOUS BROWNIE POINTS

Not that Mother’s Day is all about you getting some brownie points – of course not! But it’s a nice side effect of choosing that perfect gift for Mum and seeing her face light up with a big smile, right?

The gift that keeps on giving

We love a fab local business collaboration! Siva, the Shaggy Cow and Just a Smidge in Mittagong have created a super-spesh Mother’s Day gift. Check this out. Book Mum in (or yourself! – why not??) for a treatment at Siva – there is a choice of two totally relaxing options at $99 or $115 (we're talking foot detox, facial, back massage and hand massages...oh yes!). Included in the awesome package price is a light lunch at local fave The Shaggy Cow and a 20% discount at Just a Smidge for some post-lunch shopping. That sounds like a dream day out for a busy mum! All the details here.

Experience luxury and relax with Sculptress

A visit to Sculptress, tucked away within the ivy-covered walls of the Berida Hotel, is a gorgeous and special experience. An experience that you can give your own wonderful Mum with a Sculptress gift voucher for Mother’s Day. Choose from a range of invigorating treatments and packages (how good does the Top Toe Body Glow sound!) for you to choose from. Or simply nominate an amount on the gift voucher and Mum can decide what treatment she would like herself. Either way, she’s going to love it! And you….Contact the team at Sculptress to organise a gift voucher.

Escape the busy with a 2-hour retreat

Imagine being able to give Mum two hours off….an opportunity to escape her crazy schedule for some time out to slow down, let go and breathe. The UNBUSY 2-hour retreat does exactly that. Retreating within the beautifully restored heritage surrounds of the Post Office Café in Moss Vale, Mum will relax and unwind with an UNBUSY signature footbath, learn movement techniques for calming the body and mind and replenish with organic teas and treats. Feeling more relaxed just reading that? Us too! What a beautiful way to say thanks to Mum. Click here for event details.

Posy Workshop and Garden Tour

This gorgeous half-day experience is on the Friday before Mother's Day, so it could be a special treat for just the two of you before you need to share her with the whole fam. This half day experience sounds divine - you'll start the day with a stroll around the stunning Milton Park gardens with the head gardener (you can ask all the questions and learn all the secrets!), then get to work learning to create your own posy which you take home in a glass vase, and finish the experience with a gorgeous Milton Park Champagne High Tea. Sounds pretty special, doesn't it?! Hands up if you know a mum who would love that! Details here.

And of course, there are plenty of fabulous stores across The Highlands for you to pop into and grab something special for Mum. Or if you want to say it with flowers, start with this list of local florists. Have a scroll through our list of workshops on in The Highlands - so many amazing experiences you can buy mum - from a fab silversmithing course through to one of these art classes.
