After settling in by the firepit until well into the evening, you'll eventually pile into a comfortable bed made with luxurious french linen sheets.

Serenity in the Southern Highlands
Wow, what an experience, I just can’t wait to go back. I never realized ‘off-grid’ could be so luxurious! If you want to tune out from the world for a few days, this is the spot. Kangaroos, wombats and a multitude of birds all agree! So comfortable and everything has been thought of, right down to a hot water bottle if you need it! But the heating is so quick and efficient, we were toasty warm the whole time. The fire pit is really impressive and I had forgotten how beautiful the night sky in the country can be. I saw two shooting stars! The beds were amazing, so comfortable, I don’t even sleep that well in my own bed! I used the ‘day bed’ - pulls out to a huge bed which was amazing but I tried it as a large single too and it was perfect. My friend was in the loft bed and the opening roof window was her favorite thing. Loved the luxuries like linen sheets and lovely towels. Excellent shower and proper plumbed toilet - not always the case in a Tiny House. If you want to get away from it all, Wildernest ticks all the boxes. Not a car or house or road or person to be seen. There are good places to visit and go out to eat but keep an eye out for wombats on the road if you are driving at night. Next time we will book both Tiny Houses and go as two couples, they are walking distance, a few minutes away so you can’t see the other house. Make sure you walk down to the creek and look at the gully of ferns and little waterfall, so beautiful and the birds are amazing! Maybe you will spot the lyrebird we heard but couldn’t see ....
