Wingecarribee Resource Centre Bike Workshop

About

If you don’t know the difference between a crank arm and a goose neck, an upcoming weekly Bicycle Repair Workshop at Council’s Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) may be the course for you! Starting Wednesday 4 April and every Wednesday thereafter, the wonderful volunteers from Bicycles for Change will be conducting a one hour workshop starting at 10am covering all your bicycle basics. Volunteers will show participants how to re-fit a bike chain, change a tyre and answer all your tricky maintenance questions. Best of all the workshops are FREE to attend! Numbers are limited per session and bookings are essential. Phone Elizabeth at the RRC on 4868 0507 or email at elizabeth.guest@wsc.nsw.gov.au to confirm your place. Remember too that the Bicycle for Change team are always on the lookout for your pre-loved mountain bikes to repair and ship to the less fortunate. Bicycles and wheelchairs bound for Africa can be dropped off free-of-charge at the RRC during normal business hours.
