Tuesday classes are: TRX - 6.30am to 7.15am This is suspension training using a series of adjustable straps and carabiners. It’s an effective resistance-based workout harnessing body weight to perform a countless number of exercises. We adjust intensity as you go by changing the angle of the body. This strengthens many parts of your body, improves joint stability, and reduces lower back pain. It’s great training for anyone involved in running, golf, swimming and much more. Best of all, any fitness level can participate with outstanding results. We also have a TRX inspired yoga class to promote deep stretching and improved flexibility using traditional yoga poses. Metafit / MetaPWR - 9.00am to 9.30am This is high intensity training at its best! A short sharp, high energy workout that gets results fast. In just 30 minutes you look forward to a fitter, stronger, healthier more invigorated you! High Intensity Interval Training has been shown in research that it is superior to traditional cardio sessions in terms of burning fat, an elevated calorie-burn post workout and preserving muscle tissue. MetaPWR, is Metafit’s new HIIT program and our preferred method, is fundamentally a power circuit class using functional kit (such as battling ropes, medicine balls, kettle bells, sandbags and the like) and exercises to work muscle and boost metabolism. All circuits are still less than 30 min long and the perfect solution for the time-poor. Both classes will have regressions and progressions to suit individual fitness levels. Barre Attack - 9.45am to 10.30am Simply Fitness is currently the only local studio offering a comprehensive range of Barre Attack Fitness Training. This is an invigorating, low impact but high-energy fusion of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga. It’s an incredibly effective workout that strengthens, lengthens and sculpts your body, enhancing posture and improving flexibility. We tailor our workouts for each individual so you’re always working at the right level for you. No experience of dance or ballet required! Metafit / MetaPWR - 12:30pm to 1:00pm This is high intensity training at its best! A short sharp, high energy workout that gets results fast.
