Thursdays classes are:
TRX Barre - 9.30 to 10:00am
This 30 minute class fuses the best of the TRX resistance training with some solid Barre exercises to really make those legs burn!
TRX is suspension training using adjustable straps and carabiners. Resistance-based, this effective and strengthening workout harnesses body weight and adjusts intensity by changing the angle of your body. Barre Attack is a ballet inspired workout that is invigorating, low impact and strengthens body and enhances posture. No experience of dance or ballet required!
Solid Core - 10:00am to 10:45am
The best core exercises are not necessarily the classic crunches and sit-ups. To construct a solid core, you have to practice an assortment of four sets of muscles: rectus and transverse abdominals, and external and internal obliques.
Having a strong core is not all about having a decent six-pack or conditioned abs. In fact, the “core” really comprises of various muscles that run the whole length of the middle – thinking of it like a corset would be more accurate.
At the point when these muscles contract, they balance out the spine, pelvis and shoulder support and make a strong base for other movements, so core-strengthening programs need to focus on these four abdominal muscles to be viable.
Metafit/MetaPWR - 6.30pm to 7.15pm

MetaPWR, is Metafit’s new HIIT program and our preferred method, is fundamentally a power circuit class using functional kit (such as battling ropes, medicine balls, kettle bells, sandbags and the like) and exercises to work muscle and boost metabolism. All circuits are still less than 30 min long and the perfect solution for the time-poor.
Both classes will have regressions and progressions to suit individual fitness levels.
