Looking for a bit of me time to help cope with the craziness of life? This art therapy meditation night will help re-centre through relaxation and art expression.
Linda Burgess is an art therapist and mental health care social worker, with extensive experience in helping children, teens and adults in their journey to mental health wellness. She has designed this workshop to help support mental health wellbeing.
Spend an hour and a half being guided through a relaxing meditation that will also help you tune into your unconscious, followed by creating a simple artwork that helps you reach a better understanding of what’s going on in your life. Don’t worry about the word “artwork”, it’s not meant to be a masterpiece, and it can be as simple as a scribble (journalling is also an option).
$15 per person. Please bring an A3 or A4 art journals and your own materials if you have them (some art materials will be available).
