Makers and Artisans Exhibition at Berrima District Museum
Berrima District Museum is hosting the region's first digital gallery exhibition: A Butcher, A Baker, A Bunch of Makers in their new Story Centre. The exhibition features stories of some of The Southern Highlands' skilled artisans where you'll learn all about these gifted makers who humbly transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, including sculptor David Ball, ceramicist Tania Rollond, painter James King, Sturt Gallery and Studios, leather worker Trevor Jones, weavers Brooke Munro and Natalie Miller, metal artist Heidi McGeogh, Maugers Meats, Moonacres Bakery, Eling Forest Winery and a bunch of other talented local makers will be proudly part of the exhibition. Enjoy the stunning photography of each artisan, captured by photographer Ashley Mackevicius, on the gallery's 10 new state-of-the-art 4K HD screens and listen to their stories narrated through the audio set up at each screen.
